Dazzle for EDS Stickers

We made these stickers for awareness about Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome. We wanted to offer a couple stickers that are not only inclusive to those with rare diseases, but also want to bring awareness while also helping the community. These stickers with Dazzle the Zebra on it, will have 30% of proceeds being donated to www.ehlers-danlos.com in our hopes to help fund research and spread awareness. 

Why did we start with EDS? Our customers of course. When we first opened, I got to know many of our customers and specifically remember having a conversation with a mother of two children with EDS. I listened to their struggles, and their ups and downs, and what their life was like living with EDS but also how strong these wonderful people are. I never forgot them and their story and I knew that it would be the start of our Voodoo Awareness Babies.

What is EDS? It is a connective tissue disorder that it often takes an average of 10 to 20 years to receive a diagnosis, with many people not receiving an accurate diagnosis until well into their 40s. There are 13 different types of EDS.

Some symptoms those with EDS have to deal with are (but not limited to):

• Skin elasticity
• Joint Dislocation (Notice Dazzle has a leg brace)
• Easily bruises (Notice the bruises on dazzle)
• Joint Hypermobility
• Pain
• Muscle Weakness
• And more.
